[ Knowledge Base : Steps to join WATonomous Full time co-op / part- time ]

Before Applying

• Do your research into the team and subteam you would wish to apply for
• Decide whether you want to join ​part-time ​or f​ull time.

Note

• In order for the co-op to be paid, you must start the process at least 1 month in advance. Lat minute requests will result in only the unpaid being available.
• It does count for a co - op term, and i​s ​not ​a flexible work term ​(even if its unpaid),​ as long as the work you do is related to your program​.
• The requirements are still
  • 16 Weeks, 420 ​min​hours
  • 35-40hrs/week recommended
• If joining part-time WATonomous requires at least 6-7 hours weekly of work

CECA

1. Fill out the “find your own job form” on waterloo works
2. Go to Submit Forms -> Arrange your own job + Arrange your own job UWaterloo Campus Job
3. Fill the form and submit
4. Ask discord for specific details i.e supervisor details

Once completed, CECA will send a form to WATO to get signed.
