Kick off/ Onboarding Process for Business **
Once Team Managers are Core Members have been selected, there will be an
onboarding/training day.
Ideally, it would be great if we can have a retreat of some sort but
that is far too costly.
Instead, we can do a day session with provided lunch.
The morning will be focused on getting to know each other as there is a
disconnect of who the team members are. The teams lack cohesion as they
have not developed a relationship with each other.
Therefore, having some light activities of getting to know each other
(that are not awkward and cringe) will create a better team dynamic (1.5
hours).
The second part will be consisting of a PowerPoint presentation to showcase how all the business teams are interconnected with each other and the goals for the year. This is to demonstrate the importance and interdependence of each other teams. This will also be an opportunity to talk about the past faults and accomplishments and what are the expectations of each member (1.5 Hour).
The third part would be a presentation/group meeting with the Software, Mechanical and Electrical Teams. The technical teams would provide basic information to what each team does so that business members are educated and have a better understanding of the team as a whole (1 Hour).
