The compute rack (i.e. crystal rugged, FPGAs, sensors, etc...) is powered by the 12V normal car battery that lives under the hood of the Bolt. In the past we have had problems with draining that battery by leaving the crystal rugged on overnight, and not turning on the Bolt (which charges the 12V). We should remember to turn the crystal rugged off when we are done with it, and we should turn on the Bolt occasional to recharge the 12V.
The only people who are allowed to drive the Bolt are people who have gone through a drivers training program that is offered in the Fall each year. People who have gone through this training are tagged as a [\@Safety] Driver on Discord. If you need the Bolt driven to collect data or something else, see the instructions pinned in the #in-vehicle-testing channel.
Rugged might not boot up if the car is plugged in for charging. Disconnect the charger plug, then try booting up.
