Instructions for when Victoria is on vacation: fill out the team vehicle driver information form found at the bottom of of the page and send it to Graeme Adair along with your driver's license.

The documentation is written by Victoria Alderson, so when she says "submit to myself", she means go to her office, get the form, fill it out, and return it to her. Here is the documentation:

I suggest emailing Victoria Alderson first to confirm a time that she will be in her office and you can get the form from her. If she doesn't respond she is probably on vacation. Email Peter Teertstra or Graeme Adair.

In order to be eligible to drive the SDC Vehicles, you need a full G License (or international equivalent). Victoria will confirm that when you have in the form.

The first step in being able to use the SDC’s vehicles and trailers is to submit the Team Vehicle Driver Information Questionnaire to myself to see if you are eligible to drive. Once approved I will need the Requirements and Procedures for the use of Student team vehicles forms filled out and also signed by your teams faculty advisor.
Next log in to LEARN click on the Student Design Centre Vehicle Safety Guidelines read the following info and proceed to the Vehicle Safety Guidelines read the PowerPoint then continue onto the assessments (quizzes).
- First is the Vehicle Safety Guidelines Quiz (which is mandatory to
use any of our vehicles)
- Second quiz is the SDC Driver training – Commercial Vehicle &
Towing (this is intended for those who would like to use our trucks and do any towing)
- Third the Truck and Trailer Training form which is simply a yes or
no questionnaire intended once again for those who want to use our trucks and do any towing. EVERYONE is required to do hands on training. I will then get a list of people together for Graeme to do the training session.
- Then finally you will require a full medical if you are travelling
to the United States in a commercial vehicle or hauling a trailer.

SDC Vehicle Drivers do not need to do any towing, so you only need to the first bullet point, the Vehicle Safety Guidelines Quiz.
