Created by [ Rowan Dempster] on Dec 27, 2019
The "Test Track Guest Safety Procedures" describes the steps drive
crew members must follow to ensure the safety and happiness of our
guests visiting the WATonomous test track session.
*Make sure we take the traffic cones!*
*Roles:*
Guest Coordinator: 1-2
Guides: All drive crew members
Going to the Test Track
- Before heading to the test track, the guest coordinator should
obtain the phone numbers of some of the guests. If the guests are
driving/Ubering to the test track, the guest coordinator should
exchange phone numbers with at least 1 person per car. This way, if
the car is lost, they can contact us immediately.
- Confirm with the guest that they have the correct location of the
test track: 1001 Erbs Rd, Waterloo, ON N2J 3Z4
- Inform the guest that they need to wait for us at the gates if the
gate is not open.
- Inform that the guest to wait for us at the second place with a big
parking lot if the gate is open.
(Insert picture of the parking lot once it is taken)
At the Test Track

the guests the washroom, resting area, working bay.

a long walk)
- Ask the guest if want a tour of the traffic lights (let them play
with the switch because it is cool)
- Next, the test track coordinator will assign guests to guides. Try
to assign a guide for every 3-4 people. The Guide is responsible for
- Answering the guest's questions
- Smiling
