Welcome to the WATonomous family!
You have been chosen to be a part of a team of ambitious undergraduates trying to do what has never been done before. Your soft skills, technical skills, passion, and ambition have convinced us that you want to take it to the next level. The thought of the challenge excites you, and propels you to crave knowledge, experimentation, and the feeling of success. You are now a part of the only student design team at the University of Waterloo to be developing a fully autonomous vehicle. At WATonomous, everybody is equal. Being selected to be a Core Member of WATonomous means that you are the one that is going to make the autonomous car reality come to life. We wouldn't be able to do this without you. Your enthusiasm, hard work, and being a team player, will be essential in taking us there. We are all in this together, and together we will learn and grow to our maximum potential.

Accessing WATonomous Confluence
In order to access the link below, you will need to log into WATonomous Confluence. You should use the initial login credentials in your acceptance email, unless you already reset your initial password using the email in your @watonomous.ca email address.
We have lots in store for the 2021-2022 year, but first, we need you to connect to our platforms and get you affiliated with the team.
- The deadline for completing the Platform Onboarding guide is September 25th at midnight. Even if you have been on the team in the past terms, please review this guide, as many of our platforms have been updated!
First meeting
The WATO F21 Term Kickoff Event will happen online soon. Monitor the
#announcements channel on Discord for updates. It is tentatively
scheduled for September 18th. We will be going over what we accomplished
the last term and some cool projects we're currently and will be
working on! If you have any questions, feel free to shoot any of the
directors a message on discord. See you all
