Because our custom ROS msg definitions are highly dynamic (change a lot), any documentation we put here will quickly become outdated.

Instead, by reading the message file definitions in our central ROS msg repository (https://git.uwaterloo.ca/WATonomous/ros_msgs) you should be able to understand everything you need to about the message.

This means that the message definition files should be adequately designed and commented such that viewers need no further documentation. If you see a message definition file that does not behave in this way (you cannot understand the messages' function by using only the documentation in the file), please use git blame and call out the creator of that message definition to add more documentation.
