Created by [ Rowan Dempster], last modified on Dec 24, 2019
Signs of disengagements are:
- Not replying on Discord / Barely replies on Discord
- Not completing tickets / Completing very little amount of tickets
- Not attending meetings
After 2 weeks of disengagement, the manager will send a warning to the
core member.
- Inform the member that they have received a warning and was deemed
inactive for the past 2 weeks.
- Asks if school work is too overwhelming or is encountering other
issues.
- Asks if they still want to be on WATonomous.
- The warning serves more as a conversation with the core member.
- The warning should be sent through both a Discord message and email
incase they do not check Discord.
- If the member decides to leave the team, remove the member from the
members’ list
- If the member decides to stay on the team, give them a second
chance.
A core member will be fired from the team after 4 weeks of
disengagement.
- After 4 weeks (2 cycles of engagement reports), if the member is
still inactive or did not reply to the warning, remove the member
from the team.
- Send a notice email to the member indicating that they have been
removed from the team.
- If they want to join again, they have to reapply next term.
